“Couldn’t have done it without my team mates, the staff and you fans. Your love and support doesn’t go unnoticed, I appreciate it”.
I'm actually feeling pretty positive about #MUFC after the loss now, and I really believe Ten Hag will turn things around.
Mount, Mainoo, Amrabat, and Varane are back in the next 2 weeks, which will solve a lot of problems.
Eriksen does not have the legs for big games, while Mount’s best attribute is covering ground/ off the ball (we needed him today).
Amrabat brings much-needed defensive balance and is an option if Casemiro’s form does not pick up.
Mainoo/Amrabat have the technical ability in possession we are missing (able to feed the ball from midfield to attack).
Varane for Lindelof (a big upgrade).
The opening 25 minutes were good; if it weren't for defensive errors/lack of concentration, we could have gotten a result.
I can see what Ten Hag is trying to do (in the opening 25 minutes), and a lot of the time, he has been let down by silly defensive mistakes + no luck with injuries/VAR.
I can see things turning around from here on, and Hojlund looks like he could be a top player!
