@DuluthGuy@B_DiNucci6 Agree, It’s not the same. The season is kind of the the NBA regular season. It’s a grind. But it gets so insanely fun as the season progresses…league title, FA Cup, champions league. Soccer is the best.
@B_DiNucci6 Advice: pick one of the big teams to follow since they’re always on NBC. Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City, Man United. Only pick Arsenal if you want people to hate you. Honestly, you seem like a Man City guy (respect).
@B_DiNucci6 The league to follow is EPL if you want to be able to actually watch the games. They’re on NBC/Peacock. Other leagues are harder to find. Plus it’s the best league in the world, by far.
@sunbelt_sports A friend recommended to stop watching soccer like a dog, where you just stare at the ball. Instead, try to predict where the ball will go next. You'll see the positioning and tactics that aren't instantly obvious. It's really an incredible sport once you understand it.
@fitzalltheway It’s absolutely incredible. ODU has so many things going for them from a branding perspective: great colors, this logo, a decent mascot.
@B_DiNucci6@PatMcAfeeShow 15 years ago it was fantastic. But now it’s been so commercialized that it all feels so fake. The authentic Nashville is still there, but it’s nowhere near Broadway. You have to get away from all the pop country crap.
