@jackcheese420@seanishim@IsaacOkoroFan@Sync5x Genuine question. If you asked Jose Ramirez if he could have 1 World Series and miss the playoffs for 10 years in a row or go to the playoffs every season for his career, but never win a World Series, which option do you think he would pick?
@IsaacOkoroFan@Sync5x We know how this works. Sox fans have seen a World Series this century. TV was still in black and white the last time Cleveland got over the hump. Iโll take 1 World Series over 10 division titles all day every day.
@DanClarkSports I donโt think a salary cap is needed, but using a one year sample size is flawed. A high payroll doesnโt guarantee a World Series, but a high payroll can certainly help increase your odds of getting into the playoffs. The Dodgers and Yankees get into playoffs almost every year.
@soxmachine_josh I know this comes up every time the Sox make the playoffs, but itโs BS honestly. The Sox donโt make the playoffs often and when they do, they get stuck with the day games. I wish the players union would require that all TV contracts going forward require primetime playoff games
@Ecnerwal23 They also own the tie breaker over Toronto, so effectively 4 games. And if they win just one game in Cleveland next week, theyโll own the tiebreaker over the Guardians as well. I am worried, but not panicking yet.
