@FoxNews Do I qualify for disability if I have it to get around your stupid Medicaid work requirements that make people take jobs that don't pay shit so they still need Medicaid? Wouldn't it be easier if corporations paid living wages? Provided benefits? What a SCAM.
@IrishmanMr26280@SenatorSlotkin The GOP did add the tax penalty & workers who barely afforded their company plans got in Medicaid because filthy rich corporations didn't pay them enough to buy insurance. Blaming the poor is dumb as hell when those who should pay us enough to afford healthcare don't.
@StevenC40234799@SenatorSlotkin You can't follow the money if you can't trace it to corporations who don't pay enough for workers to get benefits to cover rising costs. Costs rose because private insurance justified the people who ditched plans for Medicaid. Paycheck to paycheck people are sick of the scam.
@Ingridanna67391@SenatorSlotkin Republicans put the tax penalty & insurance companies raised prices while corporations continued to underpay workers. Stop paying the poor for what the rich are doing. What's hurting you is the same beast hurting the poor. You just keep blaming the wrong people.
@OR_Independent@SenatorSlotkin The Republicans put the penalty in & blamed adding people to Medicaid would raise private insurance costs. Don't blame the poor, blame the insurance companies & corporations who don't pay enough for workers to have benefits.
@SenatorSlotkin Translation: The workforce needs more underpaid workers they don't pay enough to afford healthcare. These jobs will pay shit wages. Criminals get community service, so this criminalizes the poor. Can't drive at night? Too bad. Job only has night shifts. No time off. No benefits.
@HHSResponse@DrOzCMS Dr. Oz you're not answering why these jobs don't pay enough so people don't need Medicaid. Go after the corporations. Explain how a family with one worker can afford 2 cars for 2 workers with these gas prices. They'll just go to the ER which costs more than seeing a doctor.
@ariellesophia If these people are working 80 hours a week to get Medicaid then... why isn't that full time job giving them healthcare? Why do people need to work to get healthcare, it's stupid. No other country does this. 4/4
@ariellesophia Sorry to rant on your post but this is insane. Healthcare is a human right. Unlike SNAP where food banks fill the void, there's no healthcare bank. Sick workers means lower productivity. What they want is more workers paid sh-t wages who they won't give benefits to 3/
@SunCat4D@RBReich It's costing more to implement these changes than fraud ever occurred. But punishing good people for 1% of fraud is stupid. Punish the 1% underpaying workers who want more workers to make shit wages. Pay workers MORE. This wouldn't be happening then.
@Q2535153840841@RBReich It's costing MORE to implement these changes in a system that worked before. No one wants sick workers. It lessens productivity. These corporations want more workers paid shit wages is EXACTLY what this is. Criminalizing lower income people is fucked up.
@StochasticTerr1@RBReich That's the problem, these 20 hour jobs pay shit. By the time transportation costs with these gas prices are factored in with running errands outside work that's spending MORE money than having a homemaker at home. Each situation is different. Pay MORE.
