@_toeb@amal_shura@CasualWheeler F1 fans have always been so weird to Lewis. I was here during 2021 & 2016 and it got too weird. the subtext in each post was worn on their sleeves
@F0URMULA1 I know what dirty air is bro, and I understand the effects on the Merc engine but you made a slight at Oscar when one of Lando's came in p8
I'm not a fan of the bald Joey but that was such a bad faith comment
@ScopedWithin@RompiballeII@F1GuyDan that's what I'm saying, apart from Spain Ferrari has been behind.
Monaco too
they had been the only ones to go wheel to wheel with Mercedes (suzuka, Miami). they matched them in Canada Quali and sprint. like chill with the outsider gimmick
@tiredbilla you know Audi came to f1 to help their ev development right? so that's not out of the possibility
also 3 other teams were using their engine but didn't have the same results because it's engine+chassis not just engine. there was no guarantee of success
@liv16_liv@orcaveus the point is that it isn't some unavoidable cosmic faith that will be balanced out. it was a cause and effect. if lewis avoids the cause he avoids the effect
@RetiredJustin@nanoesperma@F1_Leold@DeltaData_ without reliability problems in the race leclerc would have finished 6th and was almost close to being lapped all because of an error he had in Q3 the previous day. and if you leave the positions he was in before both dnfs Lewis would still be ahead
@ElPredestinato you know crashing increases the risk of failure in a race right? a car goes through checks before a race, when you crash parts have to be replaced, his floor was, and that makes the checks after shorter or less efficient to meet up the Grand Prix. so he was at fault there
