There be chicks here!
This is NOT THE HATCH--these are chicks we got at the feed store, I thought y'all might enjoy watching them.
No names yet, so we'll need name suggestions! #Chickam

IT HAS BEGUN!
Fifteen #Chickam eggs went into the new Vevor incubator today! I'll candle in 10 days to see how many embryos we have and remove any duds. Hatch day *should* be Saturday, May 31st.
When the first egg pips we'll start our YouTube webcast here: https://t.co/VvAVy3q6Ar

I'm hoping she'll eventually get strong enough to go out into the flock...but she may be a forever house chicken. Thanks again to everyone for all of your support! You guys always make Chickam so fun that it's well worth it.π₯°
Welp...It's time to end Chickam.Mammon is as big as he is gonna get, and is being a constant sex pest for Blazikin--climbing on her and then just standing there while she struggles and yells,we're having to pick him off her constantly.
So tonight as it's getting dark, after a severe wing trimming off into the coop he'll go. Blazi, however, still can't go out into the yard. So we'll break down the brooder box and put her in a large birdcage lined with hay that we can set on the floor.
