@evilplasticfork Yes. I stopped the outlander series when Claire and John “got together” because of their shared grief at thinking Jamie had died. I threw that book and stopped the series right then and there
@zenethaniel @KelcyWinter@emilykmay @abbeyej @inkopolismetro Same 😂 My 1st grade teacher bullied me. My 2nd grade teacher gave a kid a spanking across her lap in the front of the class. My 3rd grade teacher was amazing and kind!
@DanWuori My 4 yr old son wa showing me some coins in his hand, so I said “wow, you’re rich!” to which he replied, “No, I’m Joshua!” (Rich was the name of one of his then favorite tv characters 😆)
Ok @elonmusk , this is cute. Gotta admit that the service is exemplary compared to the crap X-rural internet we’ve been fighting with for the past 6 years.
@dvassallo No, a lot of people become jealous when they have kids. Or don’t show up to their partner/spouse in the helping out department, so remain a grown-up child to that spouse.
@CJ_Toronto What a beautiful tribute. Sue was such a pivotal person when it comes to our generation’s understanding and communication around sex and everything that goes along with it.
@NSValley If the patient was an already admitted patient, why weren’t there registered nurses actively doing the CPR? Aren’t they even more qualified than paramedics?
@CTVNews Wait - nobody asked me. Who/where are this group of Canadians? How many did they poll? This is NOT accurate nor is it a valid newsworthy story
”Last night, while waiting to board our plane, our daughter Carter was being her usual inquisitive self wanting to meet and say “hi” to everyone she could, until she walked up on this man.
He reached out and asked if she wanted to sit with him.
He pulled out his tablet and showed her how to draw with it, they watched cartoons together, and she offered him snacks.
This wasn’t a short little exchange, this was 45 minutes.
Watching them in that moment, I couldn’t help but think, different genders, different races, different generations, and the best of friends.
This is the world I want for her.
In a country that is so deeply divided by beliefs, I want her life to be filled with moments like this... not liberal or conservative republican or democrat, socialist or capitalist, just HUMAN.
Joseph from Samsungus in Oklahoma, if this should happen to find you.
Thank you for showing my daughter what kindness and compassion looks like.
Continue to shine your light in the world.”
