@BelmarBeachGuy @pernilleripp I agree. As librarian, we charge chromebooks, and offer a loaner while theirs chargers. We can’t offer extra chargers because the new model charger costs around $30.

@sheathescholar I’ve been pretty yellow. Some days can’t get anything done, others timed productive as hell. Moods are variable too. Mostly I don’t like going into work anymore, which has never happened to me in 15 years of teaching.

Building positive relationships with students will be more effective than a long list of rules. Kids are happy to ignore rules, but they rarely ignore a polite request from an adult they trust.

@himissjulie In WA state, teens working at McDonalds earn $13 hour. Some places it’s $15. To pay a professional, with a MA $15 is ridiculous.
