this is long

a week ago kpop stans started a hate train against riize for the same reason and before anything else i want to say that i have a lot of respect and im not saying this to shame svt but just to record how cruel kpop stans can be toward riize. even HUGE groups are struggling right now yet riize is the one facing harsh criticism when the truth is that the country’s economy is terrible, safety for non-americans is awful and dozens of kpop groups are currently on tour.

what I mean by this is that riize became a laughingstock even though this is happening to everyone. riize was called a failure even though they’ve never really promoted in USA like releasing english albums, etc. the unfair way people treat riize, always using situations like this to drag the group down, is disgusting and only proves that since RIIZE doesn’t have any scandals, kpopstans have to make things up to try to shame them when they’re just working hard to achieve their dreams.

anyway i hope riize and svt can get through this, and I wish success to both groups and that it doesn’t become a joke like what happened with riize over something normal and completely understandable

also to kpop stans = you’re putting too much pressure on a group that debuted only two years ago and still brings in insane profits for major brands, selling 2.1 million albums in just six months. they’re scheduled to perform at the TOKYO DOME the fastest group ever to do so and hold 90% of the “first to achieve” records among 5th-gen groups. You shame them for their massive popularity in asia but they’re a kpop group and ik you wish their charts
