today so far:

-3 discharges in a row due to our toilets randomly breaking as soon as I clocked in

-an whole frickin bat 🦇 was flying around the unit and scared the living daylights out of me

-SICU staff keep coming up to me and being like “you’re here a lot aren’t you”

worked in the OR for the first time today and that was super cool! kinda intimidating cause there are tons of lights and heavy machinery but the surgeons were super nice and it was an awesome place to finally see in person

tom hanks is a great actor and iconic as all heck, but I wouldn’t put him in my top ten if we’re speaking purely on the basis of talent

i think he’s an incredible lead and has good grounded performances, but there are some absolute legends out there

Station Eleven was one of those rare series that just took my breath away, encompassed the entire spectrum of human emotion, and made me more forgiving of our worst qualities while simultaneously inspiring me to strive towards the best. 10/10, nothing more to say 😭

[SICU goose🪿 @chickenswan]

crazy, i just binged this a few days ago; extremely well-done miniseries, though it definitely is gritty and unrelenting in how it portrays truth, the legal process, and prison itself

(Also the best HBO miniseries isn’t Chernobyl or The Night Of — it’s Station Eleven!)

[chedli @zeChedli]

Beaucoup parlent de Tchernobyl comme étant la meilleure mini série de HBO mais je vous en conjure, allez regarder The Night Of. Ça n’a rien à voir je précise, mais elle m’a tellement plus marqué !
