@SeleneMSC @MoritzSchwaa to me, "turn and serve the other way" means start "end A", parcel to an "end B", turn around and start serving from "end B" toward "end A". in this case, one would be going with the lay of the LINE yet still against the parceling.

@SeleneMSC @MoritzSchwaa IF you start serving from the END point of parceling in the opposite direction you were traveling when parceling, then you will serve WITH the lay of the LINE but still AGAINST the lay of the PARCELING, which is the purpose.

@MoritzSchwaa you are correct-the nut always TIGHTENS to the right. now take the nut & go in the direction to UNtighten the nut at one end of the rod-against the lay, right? NOW at the OTHER END of rod, in order for nut to turn in SAME direction, you are now tightening the nut (with the lay).

@MoritzSchwaa in the drawing, it is clear that the mallet is "wrapping" the opposite direction that the worming and parceling is going. (worm/parcel wrapping left to right; service wrapping right to left) we are in agreement on this, yes?
