YouTube automation is about to become an editorial problem, not a production problem.

I’ve been exploring 2D editorial animation lately, and I’m genuinely excited about where this could go.

Not just for product ads — although I really want to test this style there.

I’m more interested in what it could do for YouTube editorial/explainer content.

If AI can drastically reduce the cost and turnaround time of producing visually rich explainers, the economics of YouTube automation start looking very different.

Less production overhead.
Faster turnaround.
More visual storytelling.
More room to experiment.

And I think that eventually changes something else:

the value shifts from simply knowing how to produce the video to knowing what the video should say, show, and make people feel.

That could make the editorial side of content creation even more important.
