Came across this stock in Feb and I did not buy..

10x in less than 3 months!

Avoided market open, found an entry @ $11.99 on the 5min chart. Again, raised my s/l too quickly and got stopped out.

Profit- £500-ish and lost out on +£1k.

1) Entry on 5min candle high upon open, did not work (noise).
2) Made an entry on 30min candle (off 8EMA), but raised my s/l too quickly.
3) Made an entry again @ $12.59, but fat-fingered a limit sell.

Profit- £400-ish and lost out on +£1.5k.

Principles going forward:
- Max 1-2 trades/week, less over-trading
- Max 1% risk
- Theme-selective stocks
- Weekly chart for overall trend, daily chart for entry; top-down approach
- No entries in first 30mins-1hr of market open
- EOD entries ideally
- No journal? No entry!

- $OKTA may also go next week
- $BMNR struggling to break the $23 mark
- $EOSE closed above 50EMA daily, so will probably pick up some more next week. $PBW/clean energy theme seems bullish too.

Finally made an entry, after it first came to my attention at $2.

Peaked at +£1k profit, sold just under a 1/3 into strength (finally) and the rest hit breakeven.

$350million MC & 20%+ ADR, not for the faint-hearted.

Missed a re-entry as it sliced through, but where did it bounce off? 50EMA on the daily.

+100% since that bounce in 2 weeks.

Bought the pullback to the 8-weekly EMA but I didn’t have the confidence to hold the risk overnight, a very volatile stock. Aggressive profit taking it is.

1. Never marry your bags.
2. Sell into strength.
3. Respect your stop-loss (especially once you're in profit!)

Round-tripped +£1.4k profit to a -£3.5k loss.

Hindsight bias- increased selling volume+ sloping 8/21EMA downwards.

A decent entry on 30min chart, not daily.

DCA'd too soon on the 13th, but it sliced through the 50EMA day after anyway.

Poor trade, poor risk-management.

Sold for a paper cut -£100 after the stock flew +40% on Friday.

My only annoyance is that I hawked the stock for weeks, waited for it to bottom and I didn’t pull the trigger!

Will probably go even higher but I’m content with recuperating the capital.

SUNDAY UPDATE #78

Took up a position in $FSLY on Thursday, was up by +£1.4k within hours but we are now -20%!

Some reflections:
- Massive sell-off following Claude mythonos news
- Did not sell into strength (again)
- 50% of position on S/L just above break-even hit.. (1/2)
