This evening La Plata police officers and members of Explorer Post 1888 La Plata, MD were out and about in the community ensuring the safety of our young super heroes, princesses, and goblins. It was a night of great community interaction. Happy Halloween from LPPD!

A Day of Community: Members of the La Plata community came together to hold a community walk, free COVID vaccination clinic, and clean up day in the Kent Avenue Corridor. LPPD would like to thank our community partners for spending the morning with us.

No Child Should Go Hungry When School is Closed During the Summer: LPPD will be hosting Stuff a Squad Car this Saturday-La Plata Safeway. Last year the generosity of residents help provide 1,600 meals to local youth through the LifeStyles of Maryland-Summer Meals Plus Program.
