@BioLayne@ParadigmNYC Anecdotal evidence, while weak, is still evidence and certainly not always placebo. Studies on less than 200 people can hardly claim to be a slam dunk on these questions and Iโd take someoneโs personal experience as a better indicator for them

First it was fake meat, now fake butter? Why should we eat meat and butter replacements instead of the real thing? These frankenfoods are generally made from synthetic additives that are toxic and harmful to our gut if consumed daily. When is this going to stop? EAT REAL FOOD!!! Do you agree?
I donโt see anyone saying calories donโt matter, I see them saying counting calories is often unnecessary if you focus on food quality / nutrient density first (and avoiding ultra processed crap). And usually these are people who do a lot of work with women and see first hand how easily counting calories can turn into obsessing over calories and disordered eating
