When politicians are in power, vague laws like Section 207 & 208 (Act 29) are convenient tools for order. The moment they land in opposition, those exact laws suddenly become threats to free speech.

If opposition parties were truly serious about ending selective prosecution, they would introduce private member's bills to repeal these provisions permanently, rather than just complaining when the weapon gets turned on them.

Section 207/208 of Act 29 isn't a constitutional flaw, it’s a power dynamic.

Power uses it to clamp down. Opposition uses it for press briefings. Neither side actually amends it when they hold the gavel.

If Politicians truly care about protecting citizens from arbitrary prosecution, why not sponsor a Private Member’s Bill to repeal it today?
