“To our young people: Nigeria 🇳🇬 is your home and your future. Build here, code here, work here, and vote here. Every great nation was built by those who stayed to solve problems, not by those who abandoned ship.”
~ President Bola Tinubu Tells Young Nigerians
Deputy Employment and Labour Minister Jomo Sibiya says employers are not prepared to prioritise South Africans for jobs. Sibiya says a company with 90% of its staff as undocumented immigrants removed its foreign workers from work sites to avoid inspection in Pretoria. #Newzroom405’s Vuyolwethu Yamba has more.

I miss the days of a proactive Head of the Human Rights Commission.
In 2004, a Centurion barbershop had a whites only policy. Jody Kollapen, head of the Commission, is a coloured man. He made his way there & demanded a haircut. They refused.
He promptly took them to court. 🙌🏾
You are from Zimbabwe
Your country has never qualified for Soccer World Cup, Hockey World Cup, Volleyball World Cup, Netball World Cup, Swimming World Cup, The Olympics. Nothing.
Get a grip
Wait for a Border Jumping World Cup. I hear Zinbabweans are elite athletes in that
🚨🌍 Mbappé on facing Senegal: “We face the African champions… ehm, I don’t know if Morocco or Senegal won it at the end!”.
“Let’s say the African champions!”.
Not sure if you’re aware, but a young woman died at @CartrackZA’s offices, and they’re reportedly super abusive.
Can you maybe interview the CCMA about why Caetrack allegedly has never lost a case there? And Dept of Labor, Human Rights Commission about holding them accountable?
The difference between us and them ..
We getting rid of Ghanaian drug dealers illegal immigrants
And they’re getting rid of legitimate companies who create jobs for them…😭😭
Nine Bangladeshi nationals were intercepted at O.R. Tambo International Airport on Thursday after attempting to enter South Africa using fraudulent South African visas and fake Indian passports.
According to the Border Management Authority, immigration officials detected irregularities during processing and discovered the visas were allegedly issued fraudulently through the South African High Commission in New Delhi.
Three women travelled on Bangladeshi passports, while six men initially presented fake Indian passports before later producing Bangladeshi passports.
All nine were denied entry and arrangements were made for their deportation back to Bangladesh.
BMA Commissioner Michael Masiapato praised officials for the interception, saying it highlights both the growing sophistication of international document fraud syndicates and the importance of strong border security. Investigations are continuing into the origin of the fraudulent documents and possible links to transnational criminal networks.
