@goldbergkc I've seen enough...the new CBA that will (hopefully!!) be negotiated during the coming offseason MUST contain a "mercy rule" for player safety if for no other reason.
@mickshaffer I usually like to joke with you but I type this with all seriousness. After watching yesterday's (and I watched ALL 9 innings) game I came to the conclusion that MLB needs a "mercy rule." Hopefully, that rule will be added in the upcoming CBA.
@ProPicks_io@NFL_DovKleiman That's why ESPN exploits rising 6th and 7th graders by televising the Little League World Series as part of their GMTFS programming.

@NFL_DovKleiman The Panthers & the Cards should be starting their training camps toward the end of this week as they are playing in the HOF game. The other 30 teams open camp next week. But living, in KC I can see the Royals lose everyday this week, no off day until next Monday.
@greg16676935420 Almost ALL of the players that played yesterday play in the top European Soccer Leagues (EPL, Seria A, La Ligue, etc.). These leagues have seasons that go from Aug. to May. Those playing yesterday will take a couple of weeks off and then report to their teams.
@JohnyJ_15@POTUS President Trump, I know this is low on the "priority list" BUT I think that pitchers & catchers should NOT be allowed to report to Spring Training until AT LEAST 10-14 day AFTER the Super Bowl,
@Rheamund_ I'm wondering how bad players from BOTH teams REALLY want to play that game. Almost ALL of the players from both teams play on professional Europeans teams whose seasons begin in about a month. I'd think they would just want to go home & rest up.
@Royals IF no lockout, which I highly doubt pitcher & catchers will probably report to Spring Training on Feb. 9 or 10. The Super Bowl will be played on 2/14 (unfortunately). I'm old, but I remember when they were 4-5 weeks between the 2 events.
@stoolpresidente Especially when almost ALL of the players on the teams have regular seasons with their pro European teams that begin on the weekend of 8/22. They would probably the extra days off to rest up for their pro team season.
@glezak My main concern is for the kids in the northern states where it would not get light until 10:00 AM. I remember 2 high school students dying while walking to school in 1974 when we went on DST in January that year.
@JaniceDean If my math is correct your boys are teenagers now...you TEACH them how to run the washer & dryer so that way you won't have to wash their clothes for them anymore.
