ONGOING RECOVERY OF STOLEN/VANDALISED RAILWAY MATERIALS IN KADUNA
The Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) @info_NRC commends the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( @NSCDCrops ) for the successful operation that led to the recovery of stolen and vandalised railway track materials at Birnin Yaro Factory, Kaduna, on 6th June 2026.
Following the operation, truckloads of recovered railway materials are currently being transported back to the NRC railway yard for proper inventory, safekeeping, and further investigation.
This recovery is a significant step in the ongoing fight against the vandalisation of critical national railway infrastructure. Railway materials are strategic national assets essential for safe and efficient train operations and should never be treated as scrap.
The Corporation reiterates its zero-tolerance stance against railway vandalism and warns individuals and criminal networks involved in the theft, purchase, or processing of railway materials to desist immediately or face the full weight of the law.
NRC remains committed to working closely with security agencies and communities to protect railway assets across the country and ensure the safety and sustainability of rail transportation in Nigeria.

Say No to Railway Vandalism. Protect National Infrastructure.
@MasterBolaji The FG, thru the NCC and the FCCPC should do the same for unlimited data as it would be near impossible for the market to prompt it as MTN is the dominant player and the primary beneficiary of the status quo.
Pretty much what they said about 'per second billing' then. All we need now is a 'Globacom' to put the lie to the statement. He should be asked about unlimited mobile data plans in South Africa. MTN's dominant now so only the regulator or Consumer Protection would save us now.
'The issue of unlimited data on mobile networks: it doesn't exist anywhere in the world except if you're paying a fortune. There's a limit because you can never build enough capacity for everyone to be on an unlimited bundle, and you think you'll provide a quality of service that is decent,'
- Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MTN Nigeria, Karl Toriola speaking on the network challenges experienced by Nigerians.

The problem has been it being the primary source of fx. It still is, perhaps a little less so. So low prices and production affects us dispropotionately.

This guy faked being a pilot, doctor, and lawyer before he turned 21 and made millions before the FBI hired him.
Frank Abagnale grew up broke and angry after watching his parents marriage fall apart
At 16 he ran away from home with nothing but charm and a dangerous amount of confidence
He figured out early that people don’t question a uniform
So he called Pan Am, told them he was a pilot who lost his badge, and they just… mailed him one
For two years he flew free around the world, sitting in cockpits, getting hotel rooms paid for, eating for free.
He never actually flew a plane once
Then he got bored and became a doctor in Georgia
Then a lawyer in Louisiana
Then a professor
Every single role based on nothing but eye contact and a straight face
He cashed fake checks in 26 countries for years before anyone connected the dots
When they finally caught him he was 21 years old and facing prison time across multiple continents
But here’s the part nobody talks about
He wasn’t just a criminal, He was the most naturally gifted social engineer anyone had ever seen.
The FBI knew it too
So instead of burying him they handed him a job
He spent the next 35 years teaching the government every trick he used against the
The kid who ran away at 16 with nothing ended up in a boardroom consulting for the FBI
Trauma, survival instincts, and zero options will make a person find ways.
@fkeyamo Honourable Minister, I have followed your activities keenly since your appointment and you are, without a doubt, the best Aviation minister this country has ever had. Please push the bar even higher, we still have far to go. Blessings.
Aliko Dangote: I applaud President Museveni for his bold decision to ban the export of unprocessed minerals. I also want to commit to the two presidents here that, with their support for the refinery, we will build a similar one in East Africa like the one we have in Nigeria.

The Marine Bridge has now been fully rehabilitated and reconstructed under the Renewed Hope agenda of President. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, with the project led by Minister for Work, Hon.Dave Umahi. This upgrade is set to ease movement and improve daily activities in Apapa.
No other tycoon in Africa has the balance-sheet to fund such wide-ranging projects. But whether it is best for the continent to have a single Ambani or Rockefeller, rather than a panoply of competing moguls, is far from clear https://t.co/kcx9NrAc3k
