@CHISteph For skills like that the applications are almost all in high performance and scientific computing, which would also require some hardware experience as well. At least, that's my general experience.
My favorite part about C-dramas is that they use posthumous location names for historical shows, so you'll just have a character named "Young Phoenix" ask "oh what's that hill over there called" and the answer will be "that's Fallen Phoenix Hill" and I'm just like "hmm..."
