Physicist, artist, and community organizer Michael Czajkowski locked down at a Brasfield & Gorrie site in Midtown on the morning of March 7 to demand that the company drop their contract for the construction of 'Cop City'.
Czajkowski told ACPC why they decided to take action:
ATLANTA—The City Council passed legislation allowing a referendum vote on a 1% sales tax for water and sewer projects that would last for a maximum of six years and raise $1,100,000,000.
The special election will be May 21, 2024.
