Two other colleagues from other companies got sick coz of the dust on the carpet. All the lovely managers apart from reimbursing some minimal charges (not the point!) was “we can’t tell if this is the reason.” Way to go @Hilton@HiltonHotels. #hiltonlondonpaddington
Feels like
X has become a little bit of a venting box but I stayed at the @HiltonHotels at the #HiltonLondonPaddington for an ongoing conference at the hotel. About 36 hours into the stay which got me thoroughly sick. I consumed something like “water.” (1/2)
Met Ms. Falguni Nayar in London last night at a conference we were both attending.
Some people build companies. A few redefine industries.
She is one of them. Visionary. Aggressive (implied! Or how else could she have built this!). Humble.
Had a complete fangirl moment and asked for a photograph. Very out of character for me, but oh so worth it!
Oh, and the team around her? From what I saw, it was entirely women. How cool is that!

Rant- traveled @emirates to and from Brazil in 3 days. Upgraded myself coz of the gruelling hours expecting to rest and eat well. The food from Brazil- dubai was beyond horrible, I had to send it back like 5 times (and I never do that!). Then I found a spider on my bed. #skywards+ #superupset
Spent my Republic Day morning at the Gagillapur unit for the flag hoisting, with my daughter by my side.
Celebrating the day with the team made it feel even more special. Days like these remind me that what we build at work is shaped as much by values and discipline as it is by what we achieve.
Happy Republic Day 🇮🇳

𝐀𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞, I’ve been reflecting on how much this year quietly reshaped Granules.
𝐈𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, stepping into more complex, innovation-led areas of pharma, deepening our capabilities in peptides and CDMO, and strengthening our science and manufacturing backbone through closer collaboration.
What stayed equally important through the year was remaining anchored to purpose. Expanding access to healthcare through preventive initiatives, investing in education and community infrastructure, and continuing to hold ourselves to the highest standards of quality and compliance reinforced the belief that growth carries responsibility.

When we talk about scaling, it’s often equated with size and speed. But building businesses that last requires a different lens, one rooted in resilience, strong fundamentals, and the ability to absorb change while continuing to create value.
Especially in industries like pharma, long-term growth is shaped by practical innovation, disciplined systems, resilient supply chains, and teams that grow together over time.
Sharing my few thoughts from the panel discussion at the @EconomicTimes Make in India SME Regional Summit on what it really means to scale without breaking.

India has long been the backbone of global generics, but the landscape is changing rapidly. With complex generics, peptides and next-gen therapies gaining global relevance, India’s strength will increasingly lie in how well we transition from high-volume manufacturing to high-value innovation.
This shift is not just an opportunity, it’s essential for staying relevant in the next decade of global healthcare.

While going through a report on women-led businesses, one gap stood out more than the progress we usually highlight.
Over 15 million women-led enterprises in India are generating higher returns and creating jobs at almost twice the rate of other ventures, yet they continue to receive less than 2% of global venture funding. The data is clear: this isn’t a talent gap, it’s an access gap – in capital, in networks and in decision-making.
How we choose to redesign that access, as organisations and ecosystems, will go a long way in shaping the next wave of leadership we see.
