The only way NYSC would ever become irrelevant is if regulatory bodies stop using it as a prerequisite for licensing, and employers stop demanding it. Until that happens, NYSC will never lose its value.
Let’s be honest, most people don’t serve because they enjoy it. Many even ghost their PPA because the main goal is simply to secure the certificate.
Boycotting NYSC or refusing to go is basically shooting yourself in the foot. One way or another, you will still reach a point in your career or life where that certificate becomes mandatory for a major step.
You guys need to stop saying this rubbish! Come back to reality pleaseeeee! 70% of Nigerians cannot afford leaving this place and even the ones that do still have family here so respectfully, stfu!
The fact that Nigerian Christians sat back and watched that Muslim–Muslim ticket emerge, tells you how politically conquered they are. Nigerian Muslims would never have allowed a Christian–Christian ticket to even see the light of the day. Yet, they gaslit you into silence by telling you not to bring religion into politics; while they anchor their own politics on religion.
Two men fought on a plane, not only were they not bundled out of the plane, they in-fact traveled and let me shock you, they weren’t taken to kirirkiri when they landed either but there’s no injustice against women, lol.
Non-patriarchy queens watch this and they’re excited. Progressive until it’s money matter then everybody becomes patriarchy princess.
We have a terrible relationship with money in Nigeria.
Rather than being productive women, my gender will act like they will all marry billionaires.
In this economy where most will end up with Titus who earns minimum wage.
No go find work, be there saying clock it & hoping for a man to pay your bills.

Can a christian be affected by generational curses?
I think to answer this question, two other questions must first be answered.
1) Is there such a thing as generational curses/patterns in the Bible?
2) If yes, does salvation exempt one from being affected by these curses?
The first question is really easy because there are several examples of generational curses in the Bible, with the most obvious one being:
“The Lord is slow to anger, abounding in love and forgiving sin and rebellion. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation” — Numbers 14:18
We also see the Moabites and Ammonites being under a sort of curse/judgement because they were the seed of the incest sex between Lot and his daughters. And like the Amalekites, they were also hostile to the Israelites in the wilderness.
“No Ammonite or Moabite or any of their descendants may enter the assembly of the Lord, not even in the tenth generation. For they did not come to meet you with bread and water on your way when you came out of Egypt…”
— Deuteronomy 23:3-4
Finally, in 2 Samuel, we see another example where the Israelites were under a curse/judgement because of the sin of their previous King- Saul.
“During the reign of David, there was a famine for three successive years; so David sought the face of the Lord. The Lord said, “It is on account of Saul and his blood-stained house; it is because he put the Gibeonites to death.””
— 2 Samuel 21:1
In this example, Saul killed a people that the Israelites had a treaty with. So judgement came upon the nation many years later.
So that’s settled. Generational curses/judgement is scriptural. There are many more examples: King Manasseh, the house of Eli, the house of Ahab, the house of Jeroboam, etc.
Now to the second question.
Are we exempted from generational curses by salvation?
The simple answer— Yes.
But, there’s a big but and I’ll get to that later.
Anyway, a Christian (a new creation) is exempted from every curse!
You’re literally one with Christ, you’re seated with him above every principality and power. Some verses to buttress the point:
“And if you belong to Christ, then you are now Abraham’s “child” and a true heir of all his blessings because of the promise God made to Abraham!”
— Galatians 3:29 TPT
“Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.””
— Galatians 3:13 NIV
“He canceled out every legal violation we had on our record and the old arrest warrant that stood to indict us. He erased it all—our sins, our stained soul—he deleted it all and they cannot be retrieved! Everything we once were in Adam has been placed onto his cross and nailed permanently there as a public display of cancellation.”
— Colossians 2:14 TPT
Hallelujah!
Now to the ‘but’. And it’s an important one. So I’ll ask a third question.
3) Can a christian be affected by generational curses?
And the answer is- yes.
I’ll explain.
A christian is exempted from all curses, a christian shouldn’t be affected by any curse, so why the ‘yes’?
Ignorance or unwillingness to fight the fight of faith (complacency).
The spiritual realm functions by light (revelation). If you’re ignorant of God’s word in this area you’ll suffer needlessly.
Secondly, the devil is a rebellious spirit. The same demons that oppressed your parents will still try to oppress you. Your forefathers might have had a covenant with these demons, don’t think they’ll just let you go without putting up a fight.
So in a lot of cases, we’ll need to fight. Fight in prayer, confess God’s word, meditate on the word!
Finally, you might not be under a curse per se. But you might live in a region under a curse/judgement and you could suffer some of the ill effects of the environment if you don’t put up a fight.
