@advocatemahere Its true Fadzayi handouts are not the best way to solve many of our country's challenges but given the current position, we have to start from somewhere.
There is an urgent need to introduce 21st century urban public transport system in Zimbabwe. Kombis have outlived their usefulness, it is now time to go back to the large bus model albeit technologically kitted,customer-friendly and affordable service.
@Ndlovukazi_263 Very true. In the previous Mugabe government we had many Doctors and Proffessors who were very eloquent but delivered nothing, they were good at looting state coffers. Thanks Shamiso.
@NMkapikoh MDC-T Vice President Thokozani Khupe's statement is the most mature, responsible and objective statement from leading opposition politics. Rome was not built in a day, Pres ED needs a bit of time.
@DemocracyNow7@StarfmZimbabwe@kvgroyalty I think our President knows very well that he will be judged by results and not by speeches. He is not a talker but a doer. Look at what he is doing everyday and Pres ED is not Mugabe they are very different.
Was greatly inspired by H.E. the President Cde E.D.Mnangagwa's Sate of Nation Address yesterday. H.E.'s vision for Zimbabwe is indeed inspiring and I believe it is now for all Zimbabweans to constructively engage and work towards rebuilding of our economy. Well done Mr President
To our First Lady Amai Mnangagwa keep up the good work you are doing. Your humility is outstanding i wish if more of our national leaders exhibited such character. Thank you and may God Bless you and give you many more years to do good works.
@thandimuringa@263Chat Its a shame that many people accuse Pres ED of Gukurahundi genocide yet he was not the President, neither was he the Minister of Defence or Commander of the ZDF.
He is not the one who directed Gukurahundi, ask former Pres Mugabe he is the one who was responsible for that.
Let us stop looking for what divides us than what unites us. I believe President ED's vision is achievable, I am optimistic its not going to be easy but it's possible.
You know what? Just 14 days in office for our new President ED, I am perturbed by some very negative comments coming from some pessimists who think that the errors of 37 years can be corrected in 14 days. Why don't we rally behind the new dispensation and pull in one direction.
@TrevorNcube I think they are right Trevor not taking anything away from indigenous farmers, some of our people were not doing anything productive with these farms. Some were using the farms as weekend braai get aways. Government must now embark on a proper land audit.
For a very long time there has not been any institutional support for entrepreneurs in Zimbabwe. There are no sources of finance for start-up entrepreneurs, those that are available have prohibitive interest rates. There is an urgent need for the establishment of venture capital.
@inforamisajaona Good day Sir. I once sent you an email regarding our proposal for the establishment of a pan-african focused urban public transport investment holding corporation to be based in Mauritius. We would like to engage with you to see if there are possibilities of a collaboration.
@TembaMliswa You are definitely right Honorable Mliswa its very important for a leader not to be perceived as aloof or detached from the people he is leading. Our President might not have the oratory gift of the Former President Mugabe but he speaks from the heart and he is action oriented.
I believe that the historical mistrust between our Government in Zimbabwe and business needs to make a shift. We need to build an economy which is inclusive and supports private sector initiatives by creating a conducive environment which allows business to flourish.
Our President, H.E.Mnangagwa and his team are able to deliver and he has always done in his previous engagements. All we need to do as Zimbabweans is to support our Government's efforts in turning around our country's fortunes.
