Good morning 5am club. Your life is not a public broadcast. Guard your plans, ideas, relationships, business and next moves. Share only what's necessary, and even then, keep it brief. What you overshare can be used against you later. Today's supporter can be tomorrow's hater. Protect your future peace.๐บ
Quit porn = energy back.
Make money = confidence back.
Pray = discipline back.
Train body = dominance back.
Be kind = respect back.
Your life isnโt meaningless.
Reclaim control.
I have now listened to the whole @winkydonline album. Next week I will review one track per day.
In my humble opinion, Tete-A-Tete is the most consequential album ever recorded in Zimbabwe in the new millennium. I cannot think of any other album from this era with such deep social commentary, the kind that makes you laugh, reflect and, at times, cry. I did cry as I listened to some of the tracks.
He touched the raw nerve of our struggles, and he did it with remarkable depth. This is music for thinkers, music for those who seek substance.
I want to tell him that he has earned his colours. What this record needs now is international promotion. To his fans, spread the message far and wide.
He did the work, now spread the word. I want to end by saying this is not Zim dancehall. This is authentic reggae.
I hope and pray that Reggae Land gives him a slot. He deserves it.
Well done, Winky, you have made every ghetto yute proud, you have made every patriot proud. You are indeed one of the best of your generation in Africa. Please @DavidRodigan , listen to this album from Zimbabwe, you will thank me.
Last night I said that I usually read on long haul flights. Listening to this album was more than reading, it nourished the mind.

Thereโs an artist from Zimbabwe called Winky D ๐ฟ๐ผ. The Dancehall & Reggae King of Africa. ๐๐ฅI genuinely hope more people across the world discover his music, especially his latest album, Tete A Tete. Zimbabwe has produced something special with this one. ๐ฟ๐ผ
๐จBREAKING: Hakimi on Afcon decision:
โMy mum told me to reject the AFCON trophy. I'm officially rejecting the trophy and hope my teammates do the same. We had a chance to win it but we failed to win it. That's football, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. Senegal beat us fairly and deserved the win. It will be unfair to ruin their joy after the hardwork they put in. I respect the CAF decision but I'm officially rejecting the trophy. I didn't win 2025 AFCON. Congratulations to Senegal once again.โ
This is what football should be aboutโค๏ธ๐ฅ
Since the start of Operation Epic Fury
>Dubai has been bombed
>Bahrain has been bombed
>Doha has been bombed
Basically much of the Middle East has been bombed, which has and will take a toll on tourism
And instead of African governments seeing this as an opportunity to set themselves up as an alternative for tourists, nothing is being done
Instead it's the usual rhetoric "Pray for bla bla bla"
See, why we lag behind as a continent, we don't utilize opportunities
This is our opportunity to vigorously market our tourist destinations
