@kepukepunews This is doesn't look right. It is not the job of the special assistant to interpret and enforcer the law. Is there a valid court order for this demolition and have the landlord had fair hearing. These are the issues.
@akintollgate You really gave it your all, my brother.
I followed your tweets throughout that period;they were thoughtful and well balanced. In your line of business, taking such a principled stand is not something many would have the courage to do.
The opposition lost many principled voices
@JamiluSufi The rich and super rich won't be affected, because they would do what they have always done- work to reduce their effective tax rate be lobbying during the formation of bill or using the provisions of the bill to protect their interest.
@JamiluSufi This is what people don't understand. If this bill was to protect the poor then the exemption limit is supposed to be higher. the average trader would earn more than 800k in a year. They want to widen the tax net to include everyone and those that would be impacted are clapping.
@Onsogbu You miss the point.
800k is not a lot of money in the current economy. If the president is really desirous of letting the poor breathe, that ceiling should be increased
@polyglotodulesi In Nigeria, people truly need to travel and experience other cultures and tribes. When we do, we realize we are far more alike than different. Bigotry should have no place
@fkeyamo Regardless of fault, these incidents highlight serious process failures by the airline & airport authorities. In an industry built on strict procedures, this is alarming. Action is needed now to prevent a mishap.
@Ol0ye This system breeds corruption and makes it difficult to do the right thing. 1st you make it difficult to pay for imports, people then use agents at markup to pay, then you accuse them of undervaluing the import, a problem cause by the lack of visibility in how payment was made.
@Letter_to_Jack@SaharaReporters So sad.
2 lives lost and many more affected by something that makes no sense.
Dear Nigerians, your brother irrespective of tribe is not your enemy. The system that created this nonsense is the enemy. When we wake up to this truth then this country would truly be great.
@winexviv The way this issue is being handled tells a story of how the Nigerian Education system treats students without empathy. It is never easy doing a resit it is going to be worse under these conditions. A lot of the lads will legit fail this time, a self fulfilling prophecy.
@premierleague The threats are not acceptable and the officiating in the premier league is poor. These statements can co-exist.
People from all over the world invest their emotions into the sport, the league and a team and deserve better from the officials and other safeguards in the system.
@von_Bismack In a low trust society, where crime rate is hire, it becomes difficult to differentiate criminals from officers of the law, when the officers behave like criminals.
May God help all those that are involved.
Such a tragic waste!
