Honestly, I still don’t understand why open grazing is supported instead of ranching.

At least 95% of the domestically produced cow meat that is consumed in Nigeria comes from cows that undergo long-distance grazing i.e. 100km - 300km.

Cows that undergo such extensive grazing and transhumance have “tougher” meat that is not ideal for steak.
