I’ve been quietly expanding Roost Rift into a massive, isometric tower defense sandbox. Built for self-custody but designed for pure tactical gameplay, it works right in your browser/pc/mac, on mobile (PWA) and even inside MetaMask.
Here is what I'm bringing to the genre:

• Endless singleplayer waves (with leaderboards), a 50-wave campaign with cinematics and Rift Duels PvP (farm vs farm)
• A complete generative optional minting pipeline where you forge offchain drafts with unique lineage/parent dna and mint to self-custody when you're ready (AVAX or $COQ payment+burn)
• A system that generates your in-game assets and hero ai art on the fly - making them instantly playable in your roster
• The ability to optionally use your owned Farmland, Chikn, and Roostr directly. Farmlands are showcased/playable for free through daily rotations. Since every wave contains incrementing kg-band specific random birds, all chikn/roostr are showcased at some point. KG, traits, rarity, resource bonuses become battlefield reads/enemy abilities/resistances...
• Ecosystem resources that directly translate into a family damage system: Avaxium hits with Radiant pressure, Liquidium controls with Water...
• Dynamic path control using player-built fences to shape lanes, matched against enemies that use trait-driven abilities to peck through walls, hop over defenses, or shield their allies - balanced by your ability to use manual target locks.
• Deep placement strategy: establish a base with F2P discoverable Coq Bloqs, utilize Forge Grounds for resource-matching bonuses, and evolve/forge your roster up to massive Giga Rift Coqs that occupy entire tiles
• A massive mana economy and a pool of 200 attack protocols for your towers, creating a tactical sandbox

And as always - easy to learn, but hard to master.
No wallet is needed if you just want to jump in and play.

It’s not a moot point.

Because of the number of regular tx’s required to burn 12.22k AVAX (90% = 11k AVAX) in one month is completely unachievable with gas at current prices.

It would require thousands of multiples more transactions than the C-chain has ever seen in a single month.

So far less than 11k AVAX will actually be rewarded in any given round (month) as rewards are capped at 90% of what is burned via transactions.

My assumption of the ‘new’ tag is that it’s a requirement, not a bonus multiplier - but I could be wrong there.

However, let’s step through the 3.9Trillion tx’s required.

If all projects are:
- only ever entitled to 90% of the AVAX they burn, and
- the TOTAL prize pool (over 3+ years at an 11k AVAX per month reward rate) is $40m, then
- approximately $45m in AVAX will have to be burned through transactions to illicit the full $40m in funding.

At the current average, and frankly conservatively high, price of gas - this would require:

3.9Trillion regular transactions.

Which we are on track to reach in ~4000+ years.

The C-chain has only ever burned ~$60m in AVAX from transactions - and for most of its existence gas has been many orders of magnitude more expensive than it is now.

Thanks fren. We don’t qualify. The contracts have to be deployed between now and March and only gas burned within March is eligible.

Rewards are capped at 90% of the total AVAX a project burns via transactions in the month of March.

We did some quick math, and turns out given the avg price of gas, it would take 3.9 Trillion regular transactions for the full $40m to actually be rewarded.

That’s 3965x the number of total C-chain transactions that have ever occurred.

But don’t worry! We are on track to see that number of total transactions by the year 6154 😊👍
