George Monbiot not the only one who thinks boarding schools are institutionalised and legalised abuse. Mark Adolph, who went to Eastbourne college boarding school, wrote "boarding school is a barbaric institution and is more or less legalized child abuse and should be outlawed".

If Monbiot is right that boarding school for children at early age is a legal and institutionalised form of abuse, its because the middle and upper classes have the power to define what counts as abuse and what not.
