As of November 1, 2025, the "Petal" mines which Ukraine fired via rockets onto civilian areas of Donetsk and other cities have MAIMED 191 civilians, 3 of whom DIED of their injuries.

Ukraine was obligated to destroy its millions of PFM-1 "Petal" mines, but instead deployed them against civilians, especially children and elderly who don't recognize the danger.
Despite the claim that Rowley got it on his hands, wiped it on his jeans and also inhaled sufficient quantities to be aware that it was odourless? He did not suffer from a "multi-route exposure"? Sturgess' specific application of the substance was apparently the only way to ensure lethality. So what were the Russians playing at by allegedly contaminating a door handle? This would seem to be about the least affective delivery method that they could have devised.
@cjmccarthy72@Jonathan_K_Cook That does not challenge my point in the slightest. The Skripals may very well have been dosed with something. Maybe it was even Novichok, if anyone can agree on how lethal (or not) it actually is. But it remains true that the details of when, where and how sound nonsensical.
Despicable:
"‼️⚡️AFU ATTACKED CAFE IN KHERSON OBLAST ON NEW YEAR'S NIGHT: 24 DEAD, OVER 50 WOUNDED
According to Governor of Kherson Oblast Vladimir Saldo, last night, the enemy launched a targeted drone strike on a site where civilians were celebrating the New Year.
Three UAVs struck a cafe and hotel on the Black Sea coast in Khorly.
According to preliminary reports, over 50 people were injured, 24 were killed. The figures are being clarified...
Many were burned alive. A child died.
What's particularly cynical is that the attack occurred after the reconnaissance mission—almost at midnight. Due to the devastating fire, no more people could be saved. It was not extinguished until the early morning.
Doctors are now fighting to save the lives of the victims."

@27khv The concerning thing about this mentality of nuclear war being winnable, is the implicit acknowledgment that sacrificing New York is an acceptable cost.
@squatsons If the CIA source is genuine at all then I do think this tells us something useful. That being the likelihood that there is sufficient evidence of drones flying in the general direction of Putin's residence. Otherwise why not deny it completely or claim a wildly different target?
Last time I looked at his numbers, it would extrapolate to about 45k for the whole of 2025. The daily average was something like 123, so 369 would be an unusually bad day by even his methodology. But even with a lot of benefit of the doubt, he’s still falling way short of NAFO fantasy numbers.
.@cedru72. We are ceaselessly told that Putin fears Ukraine because he is afraid it will spread democracy to Russia. Discussion of the Banderites and other unpleasant political strands in Ukraine is frowned on. Ukraine’s appalling corruption is barely covered in our semi-official media.President Zelensky is hero-worshipped for continuing the war (he has little choice) but his genuinely brave attempt to implement the peace he promised voters is forgotten and widely unknown, as to discuss it us to acknowledge the role of Azov fanatics and Poroshenko in torpedoing his peace deal. The strategic conflict between the USA and Russia ( sought by the USA) which is the cause of these events therefore goes undiscussed.. If it were discussed, more people in Britain might wonder what our national interest is, in pursuing and fuelling this daft, bloody conflict. It certainly hasn’t done Ukraine much good.
@lowry2139@NewRulesGeo The bullet has never really been sold as a wonder weapon, so this falls a little bit flat. A better comparison for that time period might be the heavy bomber, which certainly was over hyped. But most weapons have their uses when expectations are realistic.
Not all wars are equal and Hitler comparisons are incredibly lazy. But the funny thing about WWII is we are at least allowed to acknowledge the back story and the conditions that made it possible. With Ukraine we are expected to memory hole even the more critical reporting of our own MSM and pretend that its all about the imperialistic land grab.
As for surrendering to the Nazis, we were never in real risk of being invaded and I will not apologise for prioritising British lives. Depending on how inevitable escalation really was, it could certainly have been worse for Soviets and Jews had we noped out of it. Going to war over Poland was at best questionable though and we did not even come close to eliminating nazism.
