BREAKING: KISS ASS! Donald "Tough on China" Trump unleashes an embarrassing deluge of flattery during his meeting with President Xi Jinping — proving that he's desperate for a deal.

Imagine if Biden or Obama had done this...

"Uh, you're a great leader. I say it to everybody, you're a great leader. Sometimes people don't like me saying it, but I say it anyway because it's true. I only say the truth," Trump said to the authoritarian leader during their meeting in Beijing.

This is humiliating even by Trumpian standards. He knows that Xi holds all of the leverage in this summit. The Supreme Court struck down Trump's tariffs, removing his primary negotiating cudgel. At the same time, his pointless Iran War is decimating the U.S. economy and cratering his popularity at home.

Trump hopes that by heaping praise on Xi, he'll convince the Chinese President to throw him a pity deal. It doesn't matter what's actually in it, Trump just wants something that he can hold up as a victory when he flies home. In his naked hunger for such a "win," he could end up giving away the entire proverbial farm.

Contrast Trump's pathetic groveling with the educated, articulate remarks that Xi gave at the meeting—

“As the once-in-a-century transformation accelerates and the international landscape undergoes change and turmoil, the world has reached a new crossroads," he said. "Can China and the United States overcome the 'Thucydides Trap’ and establish a new paradigm for relations between great powers?"

"Can we can join hands to address global challenges and bring greater stability to the world?"

"Can we focus on the well-being of our peoples and the future of humanity to jointly build a bright future for our bilateral relations?"

"These are the questions posed by history and by the world and its people. Leaders of great powers must jointly provide the answers to these questions of our era," Xi added.

This is going to be a long two days.

BREAKING: Donald Trump has a Stage 5 freakout and threatens to sue over Jimmy Kimmel's triumphant return to late night in a deranged late night Truth Social post.

We all knew that the nuclear meltdown was coming...

"I can’t believe ABC Fake News gave Jimmy Kimmel his job back. The White House was told by ABC that his Show was cancelled! Something happened between then and now because his audience is GONE, and his 'talent' was never there," Trump wrote.

It's worth noting that Kimmel was officially suspended, not cancelled. So either Trump misunderstood, is lying, or ABC was secretly planning to cancel the show outright before their parent company Disney got cold feet and reinstated the show.

"Why would they want someone back who does so poorly, who’s not funny, and who puts the Network in jeopardy by playing 99% positive Democrat GARBAGE," Trump continued. "He is yet another arm of the DNC and, to the best of my knowledge, that would be a major Illegal Campaign Contribution."

As usual, Trump is lying. Kimmel does not work for the DNC and is well within his First Amendment rights to relentlessly criticize this utterly failed presidency. Pointing out Trump's incompetency is not a "campaign contribution" to Democrats. It's a statement of fact.

"I think we’re going to test ABC out on this. Let’s see how we do. Last time I went after them, they gave me $16 Million Dollars. This one sounds even more lucrative. A true bunch of losers! Let Jimmy Kimmel rot in his bad Ratings," Trump concluded.

Meanwhile, back in reality, Kimmel's return is being heralded as a massive win for free speech and clips of his monologue are already going viral. He went after Trump directly as well as his FCC hatchet man Brendan Carr, calling him "Trump's hitman" and said that his actions are "not legal" and "unAmerican."

“The president of the United States made it very clear he wants to see me and the hundreds of people who work here fired from our jobs," said Kimmel. "Our leader celebrates Americans losing their livelihoods because he can’t take a joke. He was somehow able to squeeze Colbert out of CBS. Then he turned his sights on me and now he’s openly rooting for NBC to fire Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers and the hundreds of Americans who work for their shows who don’t make millions of dollars.”

“If we don’t have free speech, then we just don’t have a free country. It’s as simple as that. If this most fundamental right is allowed to perish, then the rest of our rights and liberties will topple just like dominoes. One by one, they’ll go down.”
