in an industry that’s over saturated, highly competitive, heavily time sensitive, demands total exposure, and tends to punish those who don’t conform… it’s been tough finding my place as a creator

I don’t have the same 24h as the next creator
I don’t have the same community as the next streamer
I don’t have the same taste in games as the next gamer
I don’t have the same values as the next person

so I’m done trying to do things the way others tell me I need to in order to “succeed”. I’m done being afraid. I’m done trying to please everyone while putting my goals, views, and dreams to the side. I’m going to do it my way and whether it works or not is up for me to decide and for me to discover. and if you don’t like it that’s fine, i’m not you.

Girl I’m in the same boat mentally. 5 years in and I’ve been edging that 50avg for almost years… hearing people say “idk why you’re not partnered yet” or “idk why you’re not bigger” like sure it’s flattering but it gets to you after a while. Best thing for me lately has been just doing what makes me happy and ignoring the rest. If it’s meant to be it will be, if not at least I’m having a good time.

So many streamers sharing their hot takes on what other streamers are doing when most of them need to take a hard look in the mirror and worry about themselves. I literally couldn’t give less of a shit what anyone else in this space is doing, and genuinely don’t know wtf is going on in the space most of the time unless it concerns me. I just focus on myself and my community. Why are people getting on a pedestal acting all righteous? We’re streamers. We’re basically the town fools of internet land. Get over yourselves.

Today TheMans and I said goodbye to our 13 year old pitty, Ava. Our chunky Eeyore doggo.

Sweet baby girl lived a long life and was dearly loved till her final moments. We’re heartbroken, but we know we made the right choice.

Hopefully she’s running around pain free with her man Dodge in doggy heaven 🥹

We will miss her forever

For one, everyone at SE has put so much time and energy into the platform and its users, so to even think of all that going away was heartbreaking.

Second, I have too much on my plate right now to try and transfer everything and was 🤏 this close to a mental breakdown 😅🥹
