I shipped my first ever SAAS! 👇
https://t.co/Ppb44JsP85 — video transcription for TikTok, IG Reels, and YouTube. Short-form or long-form.
Super simple:
1. paste link
2. get transcript
3. reuse anywhere (esp. good context for LLMs)
Would love feedback 📷 https://t.co/Ppb44JsP85
#launch
Day 47 of Building in Public 🚢
4 hours of just straight building today! Feels so good to get back in the swing of things.
Daily Log
✅ Added a "Progress" page for skincare iOS app to keep track of streaks and display Achievement badges
✅ Added dark mode and light mode support
✅ Clean up little UI quirks in the calendar view
✅ Setup notifications
Now I just need an onboarding flow and pricing, then this app is ready to launch!

Question to the X Marketing Gods!
How do you decide pricing for iOS apps?
When should you go subscription based and when should you go for a one time sale?
Appreciate the help 🔥
Day 46 of Building in Public 🚢
Made a couple more widgets for users to keep track of their todos for their day and be proud of their progress!
I think I’m starting to get the hang of designing for iOS.
The stats in the screen shots are actually mine!

Claude Code is smartest at the start of a session.
Long sessions slowly degrade because of compaction.
Trick:
After a while, ask Claude to generate a handoff doc and start a new session.
Fresh context = better results.
Turn into a skill so Claude does it automatically.

Finally got around to trying out @cursor_ai’s agent cli!
Here are some thoughts:
1. Vibe-coding on this interface feels way more effortless, but I feel like I have less control since the UI is less optimized for reviewing code.
2. For smaller side projects, I prefer agent mode. I am much more confident that the models will make the right decisions for projects that have relatively simple architectures. Can’t really explain it exactly but typing the terminal and just seeing things get done feels really good 🤓
3. Agent mode has saved me a bunch of time on code review. I can ask my agent to “Check out my coworkers branch and diff changes against master. Provide 3 high priority comments I can ask”
4. Agent mode saves me time in small infra changes. For small changes like “update public env var” or “up number of pod replicas” it’s been nice to have cursor agent do everything from making the code change to raising the PR.
Been only using it for 2hrs but I’ll keep posting about what I like abt it!
Day 45 of Building in Public 🚢
Finally got my first widget to work for my iOS app! Took much longer than I'd like to admit but I'm new to iOS and I've only had about a 30 min - 1hr per day to work on this.
Experimenting with this new shorter format for my daily updates with screenshots of what I build. What do you guys think?
