There are currently around 705k job vacancies in the UK.
There are ALREADY around 1.81 million who are unemployed and actively looking for work.
Politicians of every party are endlessly saying disability benefits must be cut to force disabled into work.
What jobs will they do?
Hundreds of thousands of disabled people with lifelong conditions are repeatedly being put through pointless PIP benefit reassessments, contrary to official guidance, wasting public money and “significantly harming” their mental and physical health . https://t.co/7Z16m2U2Jg
There is major deception going on from politicians of every hue except Green at the moment.
ALL say welfare must be cut by taking sick and disabled people off benefits and into work.
NONE admit there are already more than twice as many people looking for work than there are jobs
Privately contracted DWP assessors face no consequences for putting disabled people at risk
In a new report, the DWP admits that there were 767 concerning incidents reported in the first six months from September 2024

The Tories made everyone on UC, the sick, the disabled & pensioners live in a constant state of fear. They felt a sigh of relief for a whole 2 MONTHS into a Labour Govt and they have been terrified every single day since.
LEAVE WELFARE ALONE.

Sheffield Reform councillor suspended after he’s found posting images of a Nazi flag, Swastika & Mein Kampf.
Excellent work by @finnsmithjourno & @SheffieldStar
The King's Speech is to include banning under 22s from claiming incapacity benefits.
This will see severely disabled people suffer for absolutely no benefit to the economy.
The only exemption will be for those terminally ill with less than 6 months to live.
I feel strongly about the state pension and the threats to it because for me how a society treats its elderly is indicative of whether or not it is a good, decent society. And as someone who has been a carer for two very dear elderly parents I’m incensed when I hear commentators or politicians say that the elderly are now a ‘burden’ that ‘we can’t afford’. Old people are never a burden. It’s corrupt politicians- and those who want us to callously cast the elderly aside - who are the problem.
No private hospital has an Accident and Emergency department.
There's no money to be made.
