A lovely afternoon on Thursday at the Harrow ‘Tens Schools Match’ Cross Country Event. Monty first of the RGS Junior Boys in 9.34 (2.5k) & Louis for Inter Boys in 20.11 (5k). U15’s played really well at the National Handball qualifying round. Unfortunately, they don’t progress in the competition but were tenacious & brave against some big opposition. Notable performances from Cooper and Jaeden. Junior & Inter Swim Squads did well in the Herts Schools Swim League @StHelensSchool on Thursday evening, with some first & second finishes. Some good performances from Joel who stepped up an age group & still competing for top finishes with the Inters.

The end of an era as Monty & Alex walk out together to open for RGS, for the very last time!
As well as today’s fixture against @thefortyclub we are also fundraising for the Ruth Strauss Foundation which provides emotional support for children who are soon to, or have lost, a parent to cancer. They also raise awareness of the need for more research & collaboration in the fight against non-smoking lung cancers.  More information can be found @RuthStraussFdn

After a rocky start, the U14 squad played some fantastic squash in their Round 1 matches v @JHGS_Sport @BedfordModern @berkhamstedsch . Showing incredible determination, they managed to come 2nd overall which is so encouraging!
Special mention to George (Yr 7) for producing some great winds in a mostly Yr 9 team: & to Ayaan for the most epic victory against the Berkhamsted No 1 seed who incidentally is also 5th seed in the England team!
