Last year, I met a heavily pregnant woman selling roasted corn
I looked at this woman and wondered, how is she able to sell despite being this advanced while most pregnant women struggle to do anything? 🤔
Despite her situation, she was fair in her pricing
So occasionally, I would drop money for her as dash
One day, I raided my book shelf and found proposals, submissions and documents I was not using again
I gave them to her to help sell her corn. She was so happy like I gave her a million naira😂
She said she would have paid up to 3500 for the amount of papers I gave her.
I was like so this worthless thing to me can mean so much to another person?
Life is crazy 😂
I had not seen her for a while. I was even hoping she delivered safely
Then I saw her today and she wanted to dash me some corn and coconut 🥥
That tells you that nobody is too poor to give but some of you are just so entitled.
Anyway I respectfully declined her offer and added some money to the corn I bought and told her to give her child
People who sell stuffs like corn and fruits struggle to survive so help then whenever you can🙏🏾
Instead of using them to master negotiation skills and then you carry 1 million and buy wig for one olodo just because of sex😂
God help us all🙌🏾
I am where I am buying suya
Two young boys were buying suya too
Plus or minus they should be around 20 years old
And they were discussing to the point I was tempted to slap one
For ease of understanding, the guy buying would be referred to as “Guy A” while his friend would be “Guy B”
The one paying for the suya (Guy A) said this to his friend.
“Omo this 15k suya wey I buy na make my girl wey I import from Owerri enjoy wella”
Guy B then asked him: “what if she no open for you”?
Guy A: “Dem no born am well. Wetin she think say I pay transport from Owerri to Enugu for”?
Guy B: “That one dey sha. But guy how you go recover your school fees”?
Guy A: “I carry 70k inside am play 3 odds. No issues at all”
In my mind I was like this one’s mum might be frying akara while the father might be a bus driver just so their stupid son will go to school 😭
One more time I would say this: Parents who successfully raise decent children in the 21st century should be called miracle workers
It is well o.
Na small thing I for collect the guy number make I know whether e enter or cut😂
Yesterday’s refereeing was one of the best I’ve seen in a long time.
For the first 15 minutes, the ref fell for Arsenal’s shenanigans: blowing a foul for every slight fall and every little touch. Then, all of a sudden, he clocked their dirty antics and took complete control of the game.
He stopped buying their silly theatrics: Mosquera time wasting, Havertz falling at every slight touch, Saka wasting time for the corner, Arteta touchline tantrums, Madueke diving. I can go on and on
Arsenal have become so used to getting away with this cunning stuff from Premier League refs that they seemed genuinely shocked when it didn’t work.
I’m glad the referee refused to be intimidated and stood his ground. That’s how you referee a final.
You might con your way to a Premier League title, but you can’t do it in the UCL. Either you play like real men or go home
Thank you Jesus
The sweetest part is that it that annoying Gabriel that missed the penalty
PSG are UCL winners
The Arsenal generational curse of not winning the UCL continues
Arsenal and Chelsea were the teams who benefitted most from VAR errors this season according to data from the Premier League’s key match incidents (KMI) panel.
This is not mine. This is yours. This is ours.
From all the players, staff and everyone involved in the club, to you guys who supported us every single day of the season.
Grateful for your love and support ❤️
