It can very easily be used responsibly in the context of research. Obviously you don't put it into a position where it could hallucinate and feed you bullshit. The best use of it is to let it point you to all of the relevant resources you want. The deep research functions ability to ingest, compile, and cite information is amazingly useful. There's really no reason not to use it in that context. Also of all people to trust to use AI responsibly in the context of research you could do a lot worse than Hank Green.

Big basic mistake many people make is getting obsessed with metrics and completely losing the plot.
