I'm writing you a letter for the first time in a while.
When people talk about someone being someone's saviour, I really like it,
but I also don't believe in it too much,
but also, as someone who has the immense fortune of hearing people say that to me,
I find myself reflecting on how I have probably been saved by you too.

I am trying to live in a way that's simpler, cleaner,
or, perhaps, bolder than before.
I have far fewer moments where I get caught up in emotions.
And yet the sad thing about the world
is that no matter how many happy days you have, those moments are still inevitable.
And maybe sometimes they're a result of being too happy.

I have said so much to you,
and sent across so many sounds to you, haven't I?
I don't know which melody, which pebble
found it's way to all of you here right now,
but I think I will just keep being someone who sends and throws things out to you.
That was the case 13 years ago, and will be in the future too.
As long as you are there to listen.

It is truly a joy to keep making memories together,
and to be able to go older one year after the other.
It is so great to still have someone to shout out to.
I look at myself again through you.
Do you do that too?
Thank you once again
for being with us on this special day of celebration.
This Saturday the 13th,
such a wonderful day.
Even if other people ask why they even mean anything,
I want to keep collecting these memories and these days of celebration that only we know, in one corner of my heart.
