Nigerians did not give APC 12 years. The US State Department were in control of those 12 years, and with the way things are going, not matter how the coming election ends, the State Department would still be in control for the next 12 year, 20 or even 50.

Buhari literally wasn’t in charge to the point that he was only exposed to a curated news, different from the Nigerian reality of his time by his U.S. handlers. Buhari was literally supplied a different Newspaper from the ones the rest of the country read. His own ministry came on TV after their tenure to confess that 2 most important security agencies in Nigeria were fighting each other at a time and Buhari was not aware.

This whole APC talk is very funny because all it takes to become a non-APC is to decamp just like Bachir Lawal, Omo Agege, El-Rufai, Amechi and co - who are now in the opposition fighting APC.

Today, I flagged off the construction of New Enugu City roads made up of 17km dual carriageway and feeder roads, 40km Owo-Ubahu-Amankanu-Neke-Ikem dual carriageway, and the construction/reconstruction of 71 urban roads in Enugu capital city.

The 71 urban roads would be simultaneously executed and delivered before the end of December. We have already secured the funds, therefore won't entertain delays from contractors.

In a bid to provide the best quality of roads, we shall closely monitor the construction process to ensure that agreed standards are met, and projects executed within the stipulated timelines.

We shall also ensure the roads are well paved and that there are no open drainages. In addition, our streetlights will be fully functional.

The project being handled by China Communication Construction Company, CCCC would rub shoulders with any great city in the world and we will have a functional New Enugu City between now and the next 24 months.

The New City will be fully equipped with a dedicated power project, a central sewage system, high speed internet needed in any modern smart city.

The first phase of the project would cover 26 square kilometres comprising the Happy Island, the Vitality Bay, and the Innovation Park in line with the purposes the New City is to serve.

The 40km Owo-Ubahu-Amankanu-Neke-Ikem dual carriageway road is going to be a major gateway to the North Central and will open up our rural areas.

In unlocking the rural economy, we'll create special economic zones and ensure that there are access roads to farmlands.

My administration is set to construct 10,000km of roads in the next eight years to open the space for investors and make life better for Ndi Enugu. We are determined to restore Enugu to its number one position in Nigeria and beyond.

We have just begun and by God's grace, will exceed expectations.

We still have mounds of solid waste with open-burning going on at Ugwu Onyema axis.

The health effect of that poor management practice will be telling.

Water promised in 180 days, water not delivered after a year.

Enugu is still dirty, largely ungoverned, and grossly polluted.
