The Rwanda-China Alumni Organization (RCAO) resolutely upholds the one-China principle and opposes any separatist attempt of “Taiwan independence." We firmly believe the historical trend toward the complete reunification of China cannot be halted. *
The one-China principle is a basic norm of international relations and a prevailing consensus in the international community.
The unity makes forces. "Taiwan independence" separatism greatly hurts the feelings of the Chinese people, including people in Taiwan.
*There is but one China in the world; the Taiwan region is an inalienable part of China’s territory, and the Government of the People’s Republic of China is the sole legal government representing the whole of China.
The representative of the Genocide Survivors’ Association (IBUKA), Mr. Gratien Nsabimana, who also shared his testimony, praised genocide survivors for their courage and resilience in rebuilding their lives, their communities, and, most importantly, their country. He underscored IBUKA’s role as the leading voice of survivors, noting that “IBUKA has advocated for rebuilding lives in tangible ways.” #Kwibuka32
