I recently visited New York City and noticed some poorly executed ads in the subway.
Here's a breakdown of their flaws:
• Outdated Relevance: The Olympics were over two months ago, making the ads irrelevant.
• Lack of Clarity: The company's identity, products, and services were unclear.
• Irrelevant Messaging: The tagline "It takes heart to build bodies that break records" had no connection to the company's actual products (scrubs).
• Missing Call to Action: The ads failed to guide viewers towards a specific action.
After further research, I discovered the company sells scrubs for medical workers.
It's unfortunate that they've strayed from their previous effective advertising strategies.
They should reconsider their current approach and seek a new agency that can create more relevant and impactful campaigns.
