@blpckink0@tzujuliee TWICE showed everyone that the venue doesn't make the artist. Meanwhile, Blackpink is looking at a massive $60 million hit to their ticket sales. That’s a huge reality check.
@twicepopbase Since it was a 360-degree stage, the bar is set so high. Any group performing at the Japan National Stadium from now on will struggle to top those numbers, even if they pull off a three-night residency.
@entenzibly They don't realize how big TWICE is. Many newer girl groups tried to do U.S. tours but failed to sell tickets and had to cancel. Touring in the States is a whole different ball game.
@Tzuyu_RT Every year in Taiwan, there are temple fairs with over a million people. And guess what? Free concerts on trucks, with scantily clad girls dancing on them.
So now, if someone tries to include these free truck shows in the same ranking as paid concerts… um
@TWICEANALYTICS@JYPETWICE We believe that BTS is capable of holding ticketed concerts with more than 80,000 attendees, but they don't need to fill that number with free concerts that don't have ticket counts, right🤷?
