The many unanswered questions around child welfare in South East Nigeria point to serious gaps in child protection. When placements in foster care are done informally, without assessment or social work supervision, children are left vulnerable to exploitation, abuse, and neglect.

Based on my research findings and professional practice as a social worker in Nigeria, I maintain that informal foster care must be monitored and regulated.

LATEST ON ANOTHER DISHEARTENING CASE OF GROSS CHILD ABUSE/IN ANAMBRA STATE.

A disturbing video of a little girl of about 6 years old. Her name is Uchendu Ngozika. Unfortunately, she is an orphan.

According to her, she was tied with a rope and dumped without food nor water for days. Her persistent cry attracted the attention of a good Samaritan who offered some help by untying her and then took her to an undisclosed hospital.

According to report, this action of inhumanity has been going on for up to 5 times. According to the medical doctor, both hands cannot function properly without urgent attention of a physiotherapist.

For this happen, our product needed to be extremely good, reliable and intuitive, which we achieved over the years.

Only 0.001% of Nigerian private schools are still using UK based software, which they will all switch to educare soon.
