@sameulu @CandidlyHQ Bravo "Sam I am", well done! Your vision is uniquely non obvious and inspiring. After reading your piece, it's hard not to see a #candidly world as imminent. I am hoping you do a TED Talk on the subject next.🙌
@BlcktoSchool Since I had kids it has become much more important for me to share this info and to learn alongside them. Hopefully, one day this stuff will be considered a standard part of "human history" and will be common knowledge @BlcktoSchool@akalamusic@blackhistoryman@BlkHistStudies

We deal with ALOT of #solopreneurs, here are 4 tips we've seen them use to level up their business. Read the full article on our #businessblog, link in bio!
#10 Debt of Gratitude - I owe my life to Pros. My mother, the nurse, who raised my 6 siblings and I to believe in ourselves and dream big. The personal trainer, hairstylist, dog trainer, videographer, & life coach who helped me to see the future & pursue https://t.co/kpfWoj8FmT.
10 reasons why I devoted my life to helping people “become their own boss”.
#1 No Income Ceiling - I’ve seen Pros leave their job and start earning six figures for the first time in their lives w/o skipping a beat. When you bet on yourself, there is no limit to what you can make
#9 Antifragility - There are only a few elements in nature that are literally unbreakable. According to author, Nassim Taleb, “Antifragility is beyond resilience or robustness. The resilient resists shocks and stays the same; the antifragile gets better.” Pros are #antifragile.
#8 Getting Schooled - The 600 to 5,000 hours needed just to get certified/licensed/apprenticed as a Pro is just the beginning. They learn something new and essential everyday. Pros learn from clients, mentors, partners, & colleagues. Learnville is where they live.
#7 A Better You - Nothing compels you to be the best version of yourself more than the independent Pro life: (i) A group of people depending on you for help.(ii) A market full of others competing for the same business. (iii) An inspiring set of personal and business goals.
#6 Relationships - We’re social animals. Everything in work and life begins with a personal connection. The most successful Pros don’t have clients. They have a huge extended family. They take care of one another - in good times and, yes, especially during a pandemic.
#5 One Life - This is it. We’ve got only life on this planet. So in the words of the late and great @RedditWhitney the question is “If tomorrow is judgement day and I’m standing on the front lines and the Lord asks me what I did with my life, I will say...”
#4 Freedom - Forget work-life balance. Pros just want to be free. Free to work until 3am one night & sleep until noon the next day. Free to make a house call today & work from a tent in Big Sur tomorrow. Don’t believe the hype, freedom isn’t a state of mind, it’s a business model
#3 Natural Talent - My older brother, Ik, a self taught philosopher once said “More than anything people want to do something that they are good at.” Before Pros are trained, certified, (and in some cases licensed), they are are just damn gifted.
#2 It’s an Obsession - I had a Pro say to me once, “People ask me what day of the week it is and I say, ‘I don’t know and I don’t care.’” Long before they are paid to do it, they live, eat, sleep, and dream about it. Getting paid for it is just a bonus.
