@zazi0901@OneFineJay I'm laughing because you think your insults are landing against a naturalized citizen from the Philippines. Please, keep going. This is top-tier entertainment.
@OneFineJay Doubtful they need a visit (stay exceeding 80 days) to attend the World Cup. Most are probably using a 30-day summer holiday? But otherwise, yes.
@MajToure I'll engage with people I don't follow, just because the algorithm puts them in my timeline. Not looking for attention. I just find echo chambers boring. I enjoy talking to people I disagree with.
@MajToure Too many people have lost the ability to disagree respectfully and civilly. I clearly disagree with some of your takes here, but it serves no purpose to be rude about it.

@Desertpuma@thevivafrei No, there were not. At least, none reported as such that I have found.
Three black women were excused on the basis that they were K-12 educators, and not for any racial bias.
Charleston White reacts to Karmelo Anthony being found guilty in the Austin Metcalf murder trial ๐
โThis was unfair. It was an all-white jury, and the judge, DA, and Austinโs dad are all buddies. Weโve already got the money set aside to appeal and keep fightingโ

@barnes_law "Without cause" ๐
You're still lying about easily disprovable things, Mr. 90-minute voir dire.
Those three potential jurors were dismissed because of potential bias related to being K-12 educators.
@AaronWorthing That the fact pattern supported a guilty finding is all but elementary. Anthony deliberately stabbbed Metcslf in the chest, hard enough to pierce the sternum. The only thing, IMHO, that took the jury any time at all was deliberating regarding self-defense.
@HeyMattM@BreannaMorello@grok If you're only talking about the felony degree for sentencing, then I'm tracking you. The underlying crime of murder doesn't change; only the sentencing guidelines.
@Twatch_Me_Workk Stabbing someone in the chest with a knife, especially when stabbed hard enough to pierce the sternum, is prima facie evidence of intent to cause serious bodily harm.
@kmacuich_67@CourtTV "Heat of the monent" is not a determining factor between murder and manslaughter under TX law. The differentiator is an intentional vs a reckless act. Intentionally stabbing someone in the chest is, by definition, not a reckless act.
