I think real relationships are a lot less polished than the internet makes them seem. Your partner is going to fall apart sometimes. You’re going to carry emotional weight for each other. You’ll misunderstand each other, disappoint each other, and make mistakes you never meant to make. Love isn’t valuable because it’s easy—it’s valuable because two imperfect people keep choosing to grow together anyway.
It’s extremely important to learn how to be okay on your own. You need to know how to pick yourself up when you fall, provide for yourself, wipe your own tears, and make yourself happy. Having people around is great, but you can’t rely on them to always be there.
Stop quitting things with great long term potential just because you can't handle the temporary stress. Pressure isn’t a sign to walk away, it's a sign you’re being stretched into the version of you that can hold what you desire. Choose permanent growth over temporary comfort.
I'm a big fan of the "GPS Theory" when you miss a turn, your GPS doesn't judge you, it recalculates. No matter how many detours you take, it finds another way forward. Life works like that too. You'll make mistakes, but your destination doesn't vanish. The route just changes.
