As a parent I just watched my kid sit on the bench for 3 straight games today.
What an awesome opportunity to evaluate for me as a parent & my child as a player.
It’s my job as a parent to teach my child how to deal with that & to help my child learn how to get off the bench.
the man. the myth. the legend. the amount of lessons I’ve learned from this man on not only becoming a better volleyball player but an overall better person is immeasurable. thank you for everything

Last one for all you parents out there, Stop making excuses for your kids and tell them to work harder. It’s easy to blame a teammate, coach, school or program, but after all the nonsense look in a mirror and get to work. Hard work and effort makes up for talent.
Hate the coach who pushes you, always says you have more to give, and never lets you give anything than your absolute best?
Wait ‘til you play for a coach who doesn’t care.
It’s then, that you’ll realize just how fortunate you were!
