Update on this upcoming week's weather including our snow chances...

- We continue to monitor around the Thanksgiving time frame for a storm system that could bring impactful weather to Illinois and surrounding areas. As of today, models show a light rain/snow mix that could result in light accumulations across Illinois with heavier snowfall to our east. Two separate storm systems will combine over Illinois and move east into the northeast region late this upcoming week and initially it looked like it will result in a major snow storm for Illinois but track has shifted east resulting in much less snow and overall precio for our area. Travel impacts are possible still but not a big concern right now for Illinois. Areas east could see impacts from snow Wednesday through Friday.

- The arctic blast is still expected and that will move in on Thanksgiving and continue into next week with highs in the 20s and lows in the 10s. If we get a snow pack that will result in colder temps. Wind chills in the single digits are possible. #ilwx
