Rather than being involved in Pride celebrations today (it’s so loud for me anyway!), instead I spent in a full day of rehearsals. 🌈🎶
This time next week we will be well into be final show.
Why not come along to one if you can? 🦇
DIE FLEDERMAUS
Tickets are now on sale for this wonderful, whacky production of Johann Strauss’s classic operetta. Form an orderly queue! Here’s the link:

I’m very excited (and quite nervous 😅) to be singing at Wigmore Hall for the first (and hopefully not last!) time next week.
It’s a bit surreal seeing my bio on their website, alongside someone as legendary as Thomas Quasthoff!

I’m getting to perform some baritone repertoire this Saturday! https://t.co/wHgqHehi9K
I’ll be singing some absolute classics on 18th: La ci darem and the Pearl Fishers duet. Along with Vater’s aria from Hänsel und Gretel, because mezzos should be drunk dads sometimes too.

I’m really looking forward to getting to play a character tenor role (Dr Blind) for the first time, as well as getting to sing some of the catchiest chorus numbers there are!
This will be the first LVGO concert I’ll have to miss in a couple of years (boo). So there better be plenty of people to take my place and enjoy the amazing work!
Announcing COZY UP! Need some live orchestral video game music to relax and chill out to? Look no further!

@bromojumbo For whatever reason, minccino is the example that comes to mind for me today. Might not always be the case, but a lil rodent fella that’s not electric type and has a characterisation of always cleaning with their tail feels very “that sure is a Pokémon” to me.
I think this is the first time I have been given a rose after a concert, I hope I can keep it alive for a bit!
And yes that is a trans flag in the background, it lives on the piano. Seems reasonable to keep it in shot as it is #TransAwarenessWeek
From one style to another… off the back of an awesome LVGO concert yesterday, I’m straight onto the next thing: this Thursday I am performing Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater.
Should be a great concert, and a lovely detox in a week of auditions!
