@Nigel_Farage Fantastic, publish your manifesto so you can be judged on it.
If it's good enough, I'd vote for you
But like every other voter, we need to know what you'll do
@nessimmersion Keep banging on about the bat tunnels & fish discos, its a diversionary tactic
The 2 tunnel projects were achieved by workers, not it being private sector owned, it would've happened under the state
My position is consistent, private for competition, state for monopoly
@nessimmersion@TiceRichard Where do I say I everything should state run?
Where there is competition it should be privately run
Where there's a natural monopoly it has to be state run
The fact that shareholders got massive payoffs and then the companies went cap in hand from the govt says it all
@trevgoes4th Ban experts and administrators paid by the state to assist transient political parties, who's actions are auditable by foi requests?
Or
Ban lobbyists who opaquely act only in the interest of their private profit seeking employers?
@nessimmersion@TiceRichard Did it?
Who said I was a socialist. That's different from accurately pointing out that privately owned monopolies are bad
What you can prove is that lining shareholders pockets hasn't worked for the customer
You can prove you got your arse spanked below
@nessimmersion@TiceRichard Because you're argument doesn't hold water (see what I did there, actual wordplay rather than repeating Rachel Thieves etc.) just because technological feats have been achieved, doesn't mean the private sector owning is was the catalyst.
You can't prove either way
@nessimmersion@TiceRichard and who's to say the state couldn't do that.
Your amazing private sector hired workers, planners, builders etc. to do it
The state could do that as well, but without lining the pockets of your precious shareholders
Who advocates for a necessity to be privately owned?
